Urban Career Academy Students, Class of 2016

The UMKC Institute for Human Development hosted the 2016 Urban Career Academy program graduation. Through this Goodwill program urban youth with different abilities and disadvantages are finding work. Participants are recent high school graduates who explore careers options through Goodwill services. Goodwill provides them with classroom instruction, hands-on job training, mentioning, and interview practice. Participants also complete an internship at a local business preparing them for competitive work.
