What is AbilityOne?

The AbilityOne Program uses the purchasing power of the Federal Government
to buy products and services from community-based nonprofit agencies
nationwide. These jobs provide people with significant documented disabilities
an opportunity to acquire job skills and training, receive good wages and benefits,
and gain greater independence and quality of life. AbilityOne provides employment
opportunities to more than 45,000 people who are blind or have significant disabilities–nearly 3,000 of which are also veterans.
