MoKan Goodwill Announces Plans to Launch Adult High School

Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas (MoKan Goodwill) recently announced the promotion of two leaders within the organization, Tim Pardee, who is being promoted to Vice President of Business Solutions, and Katherine Maloney, who will assume the role of Vice President of Workforce Development.
“I am very excited about taking on this new opportunity with MoKan Goodwill,” Pardee said. “As VP of Business Solutions, I will be accountable for generating new revenue streams of growth for our organization to help fund our mission.”
Pardee, who joined MoKan Goodwill in June of 2020, will continue to oversee contracts from business partners and the agency’s safety department. Tim will now take on additional responsibilities including management of maintenance, janitorial, and groundskeeping operations in the private and public sectors. Tim will also develop and administer a comprehensive program for maintenance and conservation services.

The future is bright for our organization, and I look forward to seeing our mission expand and reach as many people as we can. It takes a team to create great results.”
Katherine Maloney, who has been with Goodwill since March of 2017, will now plan and evaluate mission programs that align with Goodwill’s core values and ethics.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to continue the great work we are doing at Goodwill to provide equitable access to training and resources to prepare people for the careers of the future,” Maloney said.
As Vice President of Workforce Development, Maloney will take on strategic management and operational responsibilities through professional and front-line duties. This includes interacting with job seekers who face barriers to employment and providing work readiness training.
“I have the pleasure of leading an amazing team dedicated to motivating and empowering job seekers to grow in their professional development and achieve their goals towards self-actualization,” Maloney said. “In the words of our Goodwill founder, Edgar J.
