After finding Goodwill and taking their classes, I gained the confidence and skills to turn my life around.
Mission Moment
For many years, Kianna felt caught in a cycle of starting over. She described herself as a “serial quitter” who struggled to find something that truly brought her purpose. That changed when she discovered Goodwill’s Excel Center, a tuition-free high school designed to help adult learners earn their high school diploma.
With support from dedicated instructors and staff who believed in her potential, Kianna stayed the course and earned her high school diploma. The experience opened doors she never thought possible, and sparked a passion to serve others during their most vulnerable moments.
Today, Kianna is pursuing her dream to become a mortician, driven by a desire to provide comfort and care to families when they need it most.
