When Jerrica moved to Kansas City, she arrived with nothing more than her car and the clothes on her back. Determined to build a stable future, she turned to Goodwill for support and connected with Jade, a dedicated Goodwill career coach.

With Jade’s guidance and encouragement, Jerrica began taking steps to rebuild her life. Through Goodwill’s free career services, she crafted a professional resume, enrolled in financial literacy classes and gained the confidence to move forward.

Today, Jerrica is in school to become a social worker, pursuing a career where she can use her own experiences to help others build a better future.
