Most people know Goodwill for our thrift stores, but many don’t realize that MoKan Goodwill is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering local job seekers. Whether you’re looking for your first job, a better job, or a long-term career, our team is here to support you. Our dedicated career coaches offer training, job search assistance, and connections to resources that help remove employment barriers. Below are just a few of the programs and services we provide to empower you on your career journey!

Career Coaching – Get 1-on-1 guidance from career professionals
Resume & Cover Letter Assistance – Build a strong application that gets noticed
Interview Preparation – Practice answering common questions and gain confidence
Workplace Essentials Workshops – Learn professional skills, job search strategies, and workplace expectations
Digital Skills Training – Improve your computer skills to boost your job prospects
Employment Connections – Get referred to job opportunities with our employer partners
Support Services – Access transportation assistance and other resources to help you succeed

Cost shouldn’t be a barrier to finding a job

We are proud to offer our services at no cost to as many people as possible, though some programs have eligibility requirements due to grant funding. Our dedicated team will work with you to determine if you meet all of the required eligibility criteria for specific programs. Other programs are open and free to any local job seekers interested in services.
