As a part of our five-year strategic plan, Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas sought to assess the community’s assets and needs within the employment sector and better understand the demographics of the Kansas City metro area. Goodwill began the Community Needs Assessment (CNA) process in the spring of 2017. The CNA provides a programmatic decision-making framework for future program initiatives that are scalable and repeatable within the Goodwill footprint.
