Goodwill is a nonprofit organization that serves the Greater Kansas City community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to empower people with disadvantages and different abilities to earn and keep employment through individualized programs and services.
All of the Goodwill programs and services are available to our clients at no cost and the services are provided directly to the client. We will assist in determining any eligibility requirements and/or referrals if necessary.
The options below will offer information about these programs and how they may benefit you or someone you know.
Some programs have eligibility requirements with Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), Kansas Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), Ticket-to-Work (SSA), Missouri Department of Mental Health and/or the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. To be eligible for certain programs, an individual needs to have a physical or mental impairment that causes problems with working and needs VR services to be successfully employed. Other programs are open and free to any job seekers interested in services. Goodwill staff will help determine which program meets an individual's needs and determine their eligibility.
Please contact Goodwill's Employment Services at (816) 842-7425 with any questions or comments, and we look forward to hearing from you!
