Effective immediately, staff will actively monitor and, when needed, meter guest traffic in the outlet center to promote social distancing. Occupancy limits will be in effect according to local government guidelines and be determined by the store’s specific square footage. Additionally, Goodwill will conduct health assessments of its team members and require employees to wear face masks and gloves, while continuing to encourage healthy hygiene habits as provided by CDC. Shoppers will be encouraged to do the same. With the health and safety of its shoppers, donors and team members in mind, daily rigorous cleaning routines will be executed at this store and donation center, while social distancing measures will be enacted that include directional floor signage to encourage guests and team members to remain six feet apart, plexiglass partitions at all registers, and touchless payment systems. Customers cannot bring personal shopping bags into stores but will be provided free Goodwill plastic bags at checkout. All drinking fountains, restrooms, and fitting rooms will be temporarily closed to the public. Signage and in-store audio announcements will inform shoppers of these new policies. Children under 14 years of age are prohibited. Customers interested in donating goods can do so with new contactless donation options. Donations will be held for 42 hours prior to display.
