All Donation Centers Open for Record Donation Drops of Clothing, Housewares and MORE

WHO:         Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency whose mission is to empower people with disadvantages and different abilities to earn and keep employment through individualized programs and services.  We know that a job is more than a paycheck – it’s a resounding victory for the individual, their family and our community. That’s why 90¢ of every dollar Goodwill spends goes into our mission locally. 

Goodwill is a leader in sustainability, annually diverting 15 million pounds of clothing, computers, paper,  metal and more from area landfills, maximizing the value to our community through resale and recycle. Learn more at www.mokangoodwill.org.

 

AND YOU KANSAS CITY! So far in 2017, 489,320 people have donated to Goodwill in our region. The Goodwill Overland Park donation center (7241 W. 135th Street) is one of THE TOP DONATION CENTERS IN THE COUNTRY. C’mon KC! Let’s end this year strong again!

 

WHAT:      Drop off donation items at any Goodwill location. Accepted items include clothing and outerwear, accessories, linens, housewares and books. For a complete list of accepted and NOT accepted items, please visit http://www.mokangoodwill.org/donate.

 

WHERE:    Find your closest location here. Fifteen donation centers located around greater Kansas City.

 

WHEN:      Stores with donation centers are open Mon- Sat 9am to 9pm and Sundays 11am-6pm.
